9월에 중학교에 들어가게 되는 학생들이 입학전에 읽어두면 좋을만한 책들을 소개합니다.
(Jr. Boarding 에 들어가게 되는 학생이나, 혹은 Boarding School (9학년) 에 들어가지만 영어가 조금 부족한 학생들이 읽어놓으면 도움이 많이 될것입니다.) 아래에 나온 책들을 여름방학을 통해서 다 읽기는 힘들겠지만, 학생의 능력에 따라서 4~8 권정도의 책은 충분히 읽을수 있다고 봅니다. 미국학생들에게는 좀 쉬운 책들이지만, 유학생활을 막 시작하는 한국학생들에게는 조금 힘들수 있지만, 그렇다고해서 너무 어려운 책들은 아니니 여름방학을 이용해서 독서에 취미를 가져보는것도 좋을것 같습니다.


1. 큰 소리로 읽으면 좋은 책들 - 혼자 음독을 하기보다는 다른사람에게 읽어주는 형식으로 소리내서 읽으면 좋은 책들입니다. (발음교정, 발표력 등에 도움이 될것입니다.)
